Environmental Review Record - CDBG - Housing Rehabilitation Program

The City of Florence and St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County have partnered together to provide low interest loans with no monthly payment to make important repairs to your home. More information about the project can be found by clicking HERE

In order to provide these loans using federal funds through the Oregon Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the City must complete an Environmental Review. The purpose of the Environmental Review process is to analyze the effect a proposed project will have on the people and the natural environment within a designated project area and the effect the material and social environment may have on the project. All CDBG projects must complete a environmental review prior to receiving funds.

All components of the Environmental Review are available to be reviewed below under "Supporting Documents." The documents can also be reviewed at the Florence branch of the Siuslaw Library starting on February 21st. The Library is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Public Comments: Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments on the ERR to the City of Florence (250 Highway 101) or by email (economicdevelopment@ci.florence.or.us). All comments received by March 1, 2022 will be considered by the City of Florence prior to submission of a request for release of funds.
