The City of Florence takes great pride in providing information to all interested parties. To request specific information please fill out an official public records request form (see link below). These requests will go to the City Recorder for processing and help us ensure that you receive prompt service.

Policy Overview

The City of Florence charges fees for public records requests as allowed per state law. The charges and fees are intended to fund the costs of providing the services. Any requests for information that is not readily available and / or requires more than 15 minutes of staff time to make available will be subject to the City's public records request policies and must be made in writing via the public records request form. The costs for the request may include actual costs for staff time (over 15 minutes), and the costs to provide the information (general fees are included below).
