The City of Florence’s Community Development Department is accepting applications for a full-time Planning Administrative Assistant. Starting salary is $15.32/hr., includes excellent benefits package. The position performs a variety of administrative functions in support of the Planning and Building Departments, including, but not limited to, assisting the public in obtaining information about the City’s development codes, and various application processes. The successful candidate will also be proficient in transcribing planning commission meeting minutes. Candidate must have a minimum of two years administrative or secretarial experience. Pre-employment testing will include transcription and other secretarial skills.
