Florence Public Transit - Rhody Express - 541-902-2067 - Operated by River Cities Taxi
Bus runs on a 70 minute route Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wheelchair lift.

Fare: $1.00 per one-way trip or $2.00 per day. Exact cash fare required.

Operates 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 a.m. daily and Friday and Saturday 24 hours. Wheelchair vans and regular taxi. Arrangements can be made for travel out of the area.

Medicaid Medical Rides & RideSource

RideSource is a curb-to-curb service for people who are unable to use the regular, fixed-route bus service because of a disabling condition. An application process to determine eligibility is required. Request a 24 hour notice or by 9:00 am of the day of your appointment to get preauthorization. Although, it is wise to call or fax as soon as the appointment is made because same day preauthorization is not guaranteed.

Senior Connections Medical Escort Program

The Medical Escort program is a volunteer program for people age 60 or older.  Rides are provided by volunteers and the program is donation-based.  The program is able to provide transportation to medical appointments in the Florence, Eugene/Springfield and Coos Bay/North Bend areas.

From Coos Bay, to Florence, east to Eugene with connections to Bend and Boise - and back
Bus stops at a flag stop in front of Florence City Hall - 250 Hwy 101.
Tickets can be purchased from the driver, but 48 hour advance call is needed for a wheel chair van.
Stops at the Greyhound Bus Depot and Amtrak Station in Eugene. Connections to Bend for Boise.

Monday through Friday
Departs Florence at 8:30a.m. and 1:35 p.m.
