The City of Florence is requesting qualified Contractors to submit bids for the FURA PROJECTS 2012, PHASE 1 QUINCE UTILITIES Project. The Project includes the construction of 1,856 lineal feet of 16-inch water line, 4 fire hydrants, 9 water service connections and abandonment of old connections, removal of abandoned asbestos water line where required, 1,188 Lineal feet of 8” sewer line, 6 manholes, 4 sewer services, asphalt trench patch, pavement grind and inlay, sediment and erosion control and temporary protection and direction of traffic.

The bid proposal shall be submitted under sealed cover and marked with the Contractor’s name and following project: FURA PROJECTS 2012, PHASE 1 QUINCE UTILITIES, Project No. FURA 12-01

A MANDATORY Pre-Bid conference will be held in the City of Florence Council Chambers at City Hall on January 17, 2012 at 10:00 AM.

Acceptance of bids will be officially closed at 2:00 PM Pacific Time, on January 31, 2012, and immediately thereafter the bids will be publicly opened and read in the City Hall Council Chambers.
