National Night Out

National Night Out

The City of Florence Police Department hosts National Night Out annually at Miller Park from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on the first Tuesday of August. National Night Out is a community-police event held throughout the United States and is meant to increase awareness about police programs in communities, such as drug prevention, town watch, neighborhood watch, and other anti-crime efforts.

Stay Tuned for information on the 2024 National Night Out event!

The Florence Police Department provides food, games, and activities during the event. Police officers, public works, fire fighters, and paramedics attend the event with safety demonstrations, exhibits, and activities for all residents.

This community event brings neighbors together with the men and women who protect them. The safety of our community depends on both law enforcement and the neighbors they serve. National Night Out enhances that cooperation. Please join us for a fun filled evening!
