Budget 2025 - 2027

The City of Florence operates on a biennial budget, which is governed by Oregon's Local Budget Law. The City's Budget Officer prepares a proposed budget which is presented to the City's Budget Committee for approval. The Budget Committee consists of the City of Florence City Council and five citizen members. The approved budget is then adopted by the City Council. The City must have an adopted budget on or before June 30.

 

 

 

 

2025-27 Approved Budget

The City of Florence 2025-27 Approved Budget Document can be viewed by clicking here or by clicking the link under Supporting Documents. The Budget Committee approved the 2025-2027 budget on May 14th during their meeting. The Approved Budget Document was made available on May 20, 2025, in advance of the Florence City Council meeting and budget hearing on June 2, 2025.

The agenda and materials for the City Council Budget Hearing and Meeting on June 2nd will be posted to the City's website the Thursday prior at this link. 

A copy of the approved budget is also available for viewing in person at Florence City Hall, 250 Highway 101, during business hours. 

2025-27 Proposed Budget

The City of Florence 2025-27 Proposed Budget Document can be viewed by clicking here or by clicking the link under Supporting Documents. The Proposed Budget Document was distributed to the City of Florence Budget Committee on May 5th at 5:30 pm accompanied by the reading of the City's Budget Message from the Budget Officer - City Manager Erin Reynolds.

The agenda and meeting recording from that meeting will be available on the May 5th meeting web page on Tuesday, May 6th.

2023 - 2025 Adopted Budget

The 2023-2025 Biennial Budget was adopted by the Florence City Council June 5, 2023. You can access the adopted Biennial Budget document below. For more information on the budget process, please contact the Finance Department at 541-997-3436.

The Florence Urban Renewal Agency (FURA) operates on a biennial budget, which is governed by Oregon's Local Budget Law. FURA's Budget Officer prepares a proposed budget which is presented to the FURA Budget Committee for approval. The Florence Urban Renewal Agency (FURA) consists of the FURA Board and an equal number of citizen members, which includes the two City Councilors who do not serve on the FURA Board.
