How does the selection process work?

Applications are thoroughly reviewed and screened by Human Resources and the applicable Department Director. 

This is a competitive selection processes and applicants whose backgrounds appear to most closely match the needs of a particular vacancy will be considered. 

Human Resources will telephone or e-mail the candidates selected for interviews and/or testing.  This process can take one to three weeks after the closing date.  Due to the number of applicants and the limited number of job opportunities, all applicants do not proceed to the interview phase. All successful applicants must consent to a post-offer reference and background check, including criminal and driving record history. Depending on the position, a physical, including drug screening, may be required.
