Does the City provide Veteran’s Preference?
The City is in compliance with Oregon law regarding Veteran's Preference. Qualifications and eligibility are determined by state law. Please contact Human Resources if you have questions about this policy.
In order to have your Veteran's Preference considered, you must assert your request for preference on the application and provide the appropriate supporting documentation. Generally, the City accepts the Member Copy 4 of the DD-214. You will need to submit the DD-214 concurrently with your application.
