Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Florence City Council will hold a public hearing
regarding the completion an Owner-occupied Housing Rehabilitation project funded with Community Development Block Grant funds from the Oregon Business Development Department. The location of the project is throughout Florence and parts of Lane County. It is estimated that the project has benefited at least 22 persons of whom 100% are low or moderate income. The Public Hearing on this matter will be on the 7th day of August, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at Florence City Hall, 250 Highway 101, Florence, Oregon.

This meeting will be held in person with the option to participate virtually through the GoToWebinar platform. The meeting will also be shown live on Cable Channel 191. The purpose of the hearing is for the City Council to obtain citizens views about the project and to take comments about the local government’s performance. A request to speak on this matter must be received at least one hour in advance by filling out a speakers card. Written comments are also welcome and must be received at least 2 hours prior to the meeting. Both oral and written comments will be heard and/or reviewed by the City Council.
