Public Art Committee to Select Art for Outdoor Art Gallery in Old Town

PAC - Art Exposed Location 1

The City of Florence and the City’s Public Art Committee (PAC) has been developing plans to exhibit outdoor art in Old Town along Bay Street.  This program, called “Art Exposed – Dynamic Public Art” is an opportunity to generate increased excitement in Old Town by displaying interesting and attractive works of art.  During the two year display period, the artwork will be offered for sale, and, if sold, will replaced by different work.

Applications for five Bay Street locations have been received and are being reviewed by the Art Exposed Sub-Committee of the Public Art Committee, and are available to view by clicking on the links below.

Before the Committee make's a final decision, and as part of the City's commitment to engage the public in our process, interested members of the community are invited to attend the:

Public Art Committee meeting on March 19 at 10:00 am at the Florence Events Center

During that time, the sub-committee will share the final selections and provide an opportunity for public comment.
