City Budget Committee Meeting

On May 13, 2021 at approximately 6:30 p.m. (directly after the Florence Urban Renewal Agency Budget Committee Meeting) the City of Florence Budget Committee may hold a meeting to complete their deliberations if the Budget Committee determines it necessary to accommodate additional time for Budget Committee deliberation and action. The Budget Committee will determine the necessity to hold a meeting on May 13, 2021 at its May 12, 2021 Budget Committee meeting

Should the Budget Committee hold a meeting on May 13, 2021, it will be held via videoconference. Given COVID-19 restrictions, citizens will not be able to attend City meetings in person.

The May 13, 2021 Florence Budget Committee meeting will not allow time for verbal public comments. The City of Florence Budget Committee Public Hearing regarding the proposed 2021-2023 Biennial Budget is set for the May 10, 2021 Budget Committee meeting.   1. Written Testimony: Citizens are encouraged to submit written comments since it allows the public body an opportunity to review and consider the remarks in advance of the public meeting. Written testimony may be submitted by:​
  • Email to the Administrative Services Director HERE
  • Mail to Florence City Hall; Attn: Budget Committee, 250 Hwy 101, Florence, OR 97439
  • Drop off at City of Florence drop box located at Florence City Hall (250 Hwy 101) to the right of the main entrance. 

** NOTE: Written comments received at least 2 hours prior to the start of the meeting (May 13, 2021 at 3:30 p.m.), will be distributed to the Budget Committee, posted to the City of Florence website, and made part of the record. 

The GotoWebinar platform allows parties to participate in the meeting online via video conference, or offline via phone.
