Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Florence will hold a joint public hearing
of its City Council and its Local Contract Review Board regarding adoption of Public
Contracting Rules on the 6th day of February, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held
at Florence City Hall, 250 Highway 101, Florence, Oregon. To attend the hearing virtually
visit the City’s website at https://www.ci.florence.or.us/calendar. The proposed
Resolution will replace and update the City’s current Public Contracting Rules and
exemptions.

The public hearing will be held for the purpose of taking comments on the City’s
draft findings supporting the exemption of certain classes of special procurements and
public improvement contracts from competitive bidding requirements.
