Public Arts Committee Recruitment

PAC Committee

Are you passionate about arts in Florence? Would you like to see more art around Florence? Would you like to make a difference in your community while meeting new people in town? The Public Arts Committee is now accepting applications for new members.

The Public Arts Committee generally meetings once a month as a group. Persons interested should expect to attend recurring meetings and devote time for study of issues and performance above and beyond meeting attendance. Volunteer time is vital in working towards solutions to local government issues.

“This is your chance to create lasting change and get involved in the blossoming art community here in Florence at the ground level,” said Harlen Springer, Public Arts Committee Chairperson, about this opportunity.

If you are interested in serving the Florence community and getting involved, consider applying for one of the open positions on the Public Arts Committee. The deadline for applications is fast approaching on December 31st so apply today!

Applying for a position is easy. Applications can be completed on the City of Florence website HERE and are available at Florence City Hall (250 Hwy 101) during regular business hours.
