35th Street Pedestrian Improvements
NOVEMBER 2025: Thanks to a grant from the Oregon Department of Transportation's "Safe Routes to School" program, the City of Florence will be making pedestrian improvements along 35th Street. Sidewalks will be added to the south side of 35th Street between Siano Loop and Kingwood, and to both the north and south sides of 35th Street between Kingwood and Oak.
The contractor will begin work on Monday, November 17th. We anticipate project completion by the end of January 2026.
