Consider approval of the regular council meeting minutes of April 2, 2012.
4. AMENDMENTS TO SIGN CODE FEES
Consider approval of Resolution No. 7, Series 2012, a resolution establishing fees for appeals and adjustments to the sign code. (Continued from April 2, 2012 City Council Meeting)

5. STREET CLOSURE REQUEST FOR RHODODENDRON FESTIVAL VENDOR FAIR
Consider approving the request to temporarily close Maple Street between 1st and Bay Streets in Old Town from Friday May 18, 2012 to Sunday May 20, 2012 for the Rhododendron Festival Vendor Fair as applied for by Cal Applebee, Director of the Florence Area Chamber of Commerce.
6. GREENER FLORENCE AWARDS
Consider approving the recommendations for the Greener Florence Awards from the Environmental Management Advisory Committee (EMAC).
7. SOLE SOURCE AUTHORIZATION FOR SCADA TELEMETRY RADIOS
Consider approval of Resolution No. 9, Series 2012, a resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into a single source agreement with The Automation Group, Inc. for the upgrade of the wastewater system SCADA radio telemetry system.
8. APPLICATION FEE FOR DESIGN REVIEW EXTENSION CODE AMENDMENT
Consider providing direction on the application fee to be charged to Aspen Flo LLC for amendments to Florence City Code regarding extensions to the design review timelines.
REPORTS
9. URBAN WATERS GRANT SUBMISSION
The Public Works Director will provide an update on the application of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Urban Waters grant for continuation of the City’s surface and groundwater monitoring program for an additional two years.
10. DISPOSAL OF SOLID WASTE SLUDGE
Public Works Director will provide a report on a “greener” disposal opportunity of solid waste sludge to Heard Farms.
