Business Licenses

City of Florence Business License

Thank you for choosing Florence as the home for your business! A city business license is required prior to opening a business within the City limits and is renewable on an annual basis. The Florence business license program helps to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Florence through regulation of businesses. The business license fees help pay for City review of the new business to verify that applicants comply with City, State, and Federal regulations and that they will not endanger property or public health/safety.

For more information on applying for a business license, or for other questions, please check out the "Business License Frequently Asked Questions" webpage
