Electrical Inspection

When calling for an Electrical Inspections, please leave:

1. Date
2. Permit Number
3. Type of Inspection
4. Address
5. Your name, or the Name of Your Company
6. Your Phone Number, and or the Company or Client's Phone Number

When you are issued an Electrical Permit by the City of Florence the following information is being provided to help assure that your inspections are logged in and performed in a timely manner.

* The Electrical Inspector: Conducts inspections on Wednesdays & Fridays.  Inspector is at City Hall from 8:00AM to 9:00AM

* Electric Permits: are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. You must call for an Inspection within 180 Days from the date you purchased your permit or 180 Days between Inspections leading up to the Final Inspection.

* Owner Installations: Homeowners may only do work on property they own and which is not intended for Sale, Lease, or Rent, within 2 years of the work being performed.

* All Commercial Property Electrical Work: Must be performed by a Licensed Electrical Contractor.

* Inspections are generally needed in this order:
1. Service & Feeder
2. Rough-in/Cover
4. Final

 A Florence electrical permit number will be issued by email following the payment of the online application.
